Veteran's Day: November 12, 2007

Everett has always been a city to honor its veterans. We understand the enormous sacrifices willingly undertaken by the men and women who have served our country. So many of Everett's young people have answered the call to serve, and that kind of selfless devotion comes from both family and community.

If you do nothing else today, please say "thank-you" to a vet, and offer up a prayer for those who are still in harm's way. We owe them so much for keeping us safe.
