Throughout the day today, comments have been posted about one of the mayoral candidates that we have felt best be removed; we have found no evidence to support the outrageous claims being made in regard to alleged behavior by this candidate.

We accept that there will be some who will be upset at the actions we've taken in this regard; with all due respect, the outrageousness of the comments is what should offend you. In the same way that comments regarding the personal behavior of the the opposing candidate have been removed, given that there has been no proof offered to support the claims, so too have these comments been removed and the ISPs of the posters been banned.

There are three days left until the election. Neither side is being served by the vicious commentaries that posters on both sides have been out here making. Rise above it for the next three days and on Tuesday, vote for the candidate of your choice. If you want to serve your candidate, that is the best action you can take.
