COMMUNICATIONS FROM HIS HONOR THE MAYOR
1. C0338-07 Order/s/Councilor Sal DiDomenico, as President
To accept the gift of $100.00 from the Vietnam Veterans Association & Iron Workers Local 7 to the Veterans Department Gift Account.

2. C0339-07 Order/s/Councilor Sal DiDomenico, as President
To accept the donation of $550.00 from Mayor John F. Hanlon to be deposited into the City's General Fund as down payment on the ceremonial mace.

PAPERS FROM THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
3. A0370-07 Order/s/Alderman Joseph W. McGonagle, as President
To authorize Mayor Hanlon to act for the City of Everett in the matter of placing activity and use limitations on a parcel of registered land, identified by Certificate Number 220175, Book 1231, Page 25, (South Middlesex Land Registration Office) owned by the City of Everett, a portion of the total property located at 115 Woodville Street, the location of the Madeline English School, in connection with filing a Response Action Outcome (RAO) Statement for that site under 310 CMR 40.0000. (Passed, sent down for concurrence)

Committee on Licenses Report on Resolution offered by Councilor Wayne A. Matewsky regarding mechanical shop concerns and trucks on Cabot Street, in the middle of Cabot and Revere Street, with a recommendation to refer back to sponsor.(Committee report accepted, referred back to sponsor)

5. A0354-07 Order/s/Alderman Joseph W. McGonagle, as President
To authorize a Tax Incentive Financing (TIF) Agreement between the City of Everett and Prolerized New England Company LLC for twenty years. This TIF Agreement will be based on an exemption from Chapter 40, Section 59, property taxation for the project and applied to the new assessed value of the Prolerized New England project. (Passed sent down for concurrence)

6. A0355-07 Order/s/Alderman Joseph McGonagle, as President
To authorize an amendment to the Parkway Island End Economic Opportunity Area (EOA), to remove Prolerized New England project from the existing Parkway Island End Economic Opportunity Area and design Prolerized New England Company LLC as a separate EOA for twenty years. (Passed sent down for concurrence)

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7. C0322-07 Resolution/s/Councilor Stephen Simonelli
To have City Services Director Jerry Sheehan, Fleet Manager Tony Latorelli and the Mechanics at the City Yard give a complete and detailed update on all thirty-seven (37) motor vehicles and other pieces of equipment and report back to the Common Council with a full and written report on Monday, December 17th, the last Common Council meeting for the year.

8. C0325-07 Resolution/s/Councilor Leo McKinnon
That the Code Enforcement Task Force go into 190 Shute Street to see about complaints of the residency to see exactly what is going on, and to see if there is any record or permitting for a sober house or a drug rehab house.

9. C0333-07 Resolution/s/Councilor Stephen Simonelli
To have City Services notify the public when an emergency occurs and services will be interrupted, such as a water main break.(Mr. Jerry Sheehan requested to attend on the matter this meeting.)

NEW BUSINESS
10. C0334-07 Resolution/s/Councilor Leo McKinnon
To invite Personnel Director, James Henderson, and Commissioner of Veterans Services, Walter Rice, to appear this meeting, Monday, December 17th, to explain the plaques that were supposed to be dedicated to Veterans missing in action at the New High School.

11. C0335-07 CC Worksheet
1. Councilor Wayne Matewsky-Sign Division replace missing no heavy trucking signs on Lewis Street, both sides, one at Second Street and Lewis Street, and the other at Revere Beach Parkway and Lewis Street. This is second request. The signs were up there and taken down a few years ago.

12. C0336-07 Resolution/s/Councilor Leo McKinnon
To see if there is, or needs to be put in place, a mechanized metal detector at the new High School.

13. C0337-07 Resolution/s/Councilor James A. Keane
That the Everett City Council supports House Docket 4651 Legislation that would bring over a million dollars to the City of Everett. This is from the State Rainy Day Fund with over two billion dollars currently in it. Along with City Council support, please forward to State Representative Stephen Smith and State Senator Anthony Gallucio, and also House Speaker Sal DiMasi to refer Bill to appropriate Joint Committee.
